The Bank of England (BoE) has today confirmed that it will hold interest rates at 4.0%, maintaining its current monetary policy stance ahead of the forthcoming Autumn Budget. Commenting on the announcement, Sue Robinson, Chief Executive of the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA), said: “The Bank of England’s decision to hold interest rates at 4.0% provides stability at a time when businesses and consumers are preparing for what may be a challenging Autumn Budget.
