As always, the FLASH Test delivers a comprehensive battery health analysis in just three minutes – including detailed insights into potential damage and cell-level defects. To better understand how end customers in the EV and plug-in hybrid market think – and how an independent battery certificate influences their purchase decisions – we conducted an online market survey in 2024 across six European countries. The findings are clear: A battery certificate increases customers’ willingness to pay by at least £ 469 to £ 938 . The likelihood of selling a used EV increases by an impressive 36% when a battery certificate is available. 75% of respondents now expect such a certificate when buying a used electric vehicle.
