Today the Bank of England (BoE) has confirmed that interest rates will be held at 4.25%, following a cut in May. Sue Robinson, Chief Executive of the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA), representing car and commercial retailers across the UK commented: “As expected, the Bank of England has decided to keep interest rates at 4.25%, following a decision to cut in May. Whilst future cuts have been alluded to, in the meantime NFDA welcomes this decision as it will continue to help ease pressure on both consumers and dealers amidst difficult economic uncertainty.”
