Bank of England holds interest rates once again due to the conflict in the Middle East

The National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) notes the decision by the Bank of England to hold the base rate at 3.75%, reflecting continued caution as inflationary pressures persists in the face of the conflict in the Middle East. Sue Robinson, Chief Executive of the NFDA, said: “Today’s decision to hold interest rates underlines the ongoing challenges facing both consumers and businesses. Franchised dealers continue to support customers, enabling them to find the vehicle and finance deal most appropriate for their needs.”
