Costs still prove to be the main barrier in the transition to electric vehicles for private motorists, say 60.5% of respondents to the Europcar EV Barometer1. However, the survey also saw notable year-on-year decrease in concerns regarding charging infrastructure.
Tom Middleditch, sustainability spokesperson at Europcar, said, “It’s encouraging to see charging concerns are beginning to ease, but it seems cost continues to hold many drivers back”.
