NFDA is establishing a Customer Vulnerability Working Group and is inviting interest from members who would like to take part. The new group will bring together representatives from across the franchised retail sector, including both independent franchise retailers and larger dealer groups, to create an industry-led forum. The aim is to provide members with an opportunity to share practical experiences, discuss common challenges and identify effective approaches to supporting customers. Discussions will cover a range of topics, including policies and procedures, staff training, customer interactions and emerging regulatory expectations. By bringing together a broad range of perspectives and experiences, the group will identify best practices that can be adopted across the sector. Insights gathered through the working group will help inform future NFDA guidance, resources and member support, ensuring that retailers are well equipped to meet the needs of customers while responding to an evolving regulatory environment. Participation in the group will provide members with an opportunity to contribute directly to the development of practical and proportionate industry standards, helping to shape future approaches across the sector. To join the Customer Vulnerability Working Group, contact lena.patel@rmif.co.uk for further information and details on how to get involved.
