From the start of this year NFDA has been working hard responding to government consultations. These include: Dual marking vehicles under the GB type-approval scheme Mandating vehicle safety technologies in GB type approval Introducing mandatory eyesight testing for older drivers Consultation on the Introduction of Electric Vehicle Excise Duty (eVED) Improving moped and motorcycle training, testing and licensing New HGV CO2 emissions regulatory framework for the UK Engaging with government consultations remains a core part of NFDA’s political engagement work, ensuring that the voice of franchised dealers is heard as new legislation and regulatory frameworks are developed. Members’ feedback plays a vital role in shaping these responses, and NFDA will continue to keep members informed of policy developments affecting the sector as well as when we submit our responses.
