NFDA is calling on the Chancellor to use the 28 October Budget to reduce costs facing franchised dealers and support further investment across automotive retail.
Its submission calls for business rates reform, no further increases to employment costs, easier access to skills funding and greater support for EV charging infrastructure.
NFDA is also urging Government to reconsider the proposed mileage-based eVED system and ensure the ZEV Mandate reflects consumer demand and market conditions.
